MATRIMONIAL CAUSES ORDINANCE - SECT 48B

Parent or guardian to inform Director of Social Welfare of change of address

Each parent or guardian of a child who, for the time being, is-

   (a)  under the supervision of the Director of Social Welfare by virtue of
        an order made under section 48; or

   (b)  in the care of the Director of Social Welfare by virtue of an order
        made under section 48A, shall within 1 month give notice to the
        Director of any change of address of that parent or guardian and any
        person who without reasonable excuse fails to comply with this section
        commits an offence and is liable to a fine of $5000. (Added 10 of 1983
