In the case of a loss of a whole finger of one hand, the following percentages shall be awarded in addition to those provided for the loss of a single finger. In this item "finger" does not include "thumb". These additional percentages shall be awarded when 2 or more fingers of the same hand are lost in the same injury; or when one or more fingers of the same hand are lost in the same injury to a hand of which one or more fingers were lost in a previous injury, whether or not the previous injury was work related or whether compensation was paid or is payable for the loss-
