DISTRICT COURT ORDINANCE - SECT 30

Assaulting officers

(Past version on 30/06/1997).

Any person who assaults, resists or obstructs an officer of the Court while in
the execution of his duty shall be liable-

   (a)  on summary conviction to a fine at level 5 and to imprisonment for 12
        months; or (Replaced 28 of 2000 s. 19)

   (b)  on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for 2 years. (Replaced 28
