APPRENTICESHIP ORDINANCE - SECT 32

Notification of termination of employment of an apprentice

(1) Where the employment of a registered apprentice ceases otherwise than on
completion of his apprenticeship under section 28 or on termination of a
contract of apprenticeship under section 30, the employer shall, within 14
days after such cessation of employment, send to the Director a notice in the
specified form in relation to the apprentice.

(2) The Director shall, on receipt of a notice under subsection

(1), enter in the register a note of the cessation of employment of the
apprentice.

(3) An employer who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence
and shall be liable on conviction to a fine of $1000. (Amended 13 of 1982 s.
