EMPLOYMENT ORDINANCE - SECT 28

Remuneration other than wages

(Past version on 30/06/1997).

(1) A contract of employment may provide for giving to an employee food,
accommodation or other allowances or privileges in addition to wages as
remuneration for his services.

(2) No employer shall give to an employee any intoxicating liquor,
dangerous drug, or any ticket or other substitute for ticket for any
cash-sweep, fixed odds betting or pari-mutuel betting organized or conducted
with the permission or authorization under the Betting Duty  Ordinance (
Cap 108) as remuneration for his services. (Amended 17 of 2006 s. 23)
